In the summers of 2024 and 2025 we were delighted to be invited to consult on the Hills Quarry Products Mammoth Graveyard excavation. We were both part of the 2023 excavation so we were familiar with the site and project leaders Sally and Neville Hollingworth trusted us as team leaders on site.

We were Team Leaders on site, supervising volunteers and assisting the management of site operations. Of the two of us Oliver was on site for the entirety of the excavation and acted as the Field Curator while Alison was a Conservation Consultant.
