In 2024, I was approached about assisting to set up a fossil preparation lab at the Université Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah in Fes, Morocco. There was a few months of consutation with Susie Maidment of the Natural History Museum and Richard Butler of the University of Birmingham regarding equipment and necessary safety procedures before heading out the university in early February 2025.
