This Gorgonops snout is a teaching fossil and my first chance on prepping teeth. The fossil itself reminds me of the alien from "Alien".
A sabre-toothed therapsids of the Late Permian, Gorgonops was one of the first predators with a semi-erect gait allowing them to save energy chasing down prey.
