This Cynodont is from the Karoo of South Africa and was found during 2018. Sadly, its nose is missing, but thankfully it does have a wonderful sagittal crest. This is possible my most challenging fossil yet.

These mammal relatives were likely warm blooded with fluffy bodies. Their teeth were differentiated for different jobs like our own so could exploit a wider variety of foods.
